Who we are
Room Planner AI – Home Design (“Room Planner AI”, “we”, “us”) is the developer of the Room Planner AI mobile app (the “App”) and the website ai-remodel.space. We are based in Ukraine and act as the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect
Data you give us
- Photos. The room photo you take with the camera or choose from your photo library. The App only receives the photo you pick and never browses your library.
- Prompts and choices. The text you type to describe an item, wall or floor, plus the room type and style you choose.
- Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
Data collected automatically
- Identifiers. A random app user ID created on first launch, and device identifiers such as the identifier for vendors (IDFV). The advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected only if you allow tracking.
- Usage data. Which screens you open and features you use, for example when you start a generation, open the paywall or view a result.
- Device and technical data. Device model, iOS version, app version, language, approximate region derived from your IP address, and network information.
- Crash and diagnostic data. Crash logs and performance data that help us fix bugs.
Purchase data
Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. We receive your subscription status, the product you bought, its price and currency, and transaction dates so we can unlock premium features and measure our marketing.

How we use data
- To provide the App: generate your redesign, unlock your subscription and restore purchases. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- To improve the App: understand which features work, find and fix crashes, and set remote configuration such as minimum supported versions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable, useful product.
- To measure advertising: learn which ads led people to install the App and subscribe. Legal basis: your consent, given through the iOS tracking prompt.
- To respond to you: answer support requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations: for example tax, accounting or lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use your photos or prompts to identify you, and we do not use them for advertising.
Tracking & advertising
We advertise the App on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To understand whether those ads work, the App uses the Meta SDK to send events such as app opens, completed onboarding, started generations, paywall views, and subscriptions together with their price and currency.
You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.
Under some US state laws, sharing data with advertising partners for ad measurement may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out by denying tracking as described above, or by emailing us.
The App does not show ads to you.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the App. Each processes data under its own privacy policy and our agreements with it.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
Storage & retention
- Photos and prompts are kept on our server only as long as needed to generate and deliver your result, and are then deleted.
- Your designs are stored locally on your iPhone and remain until you delete them or delete the App.
- Analytics, crash and attribution data are kept by our providers according to their retention settings and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for the purposes above.
- Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices & rights
- Delete your designs: open a result in the App and tap Delete, or delete the App to remove everything stored on your device.
- Camera and photos: allow or revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Room Planner AI.
- Tracking: allow or deny in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Ukraine or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don’t use accounts, please include your app user ID if you can (or the approximate date you installed the App) so we can find your data. Email support@ai-remodel.space and we will reply within 30 days.
We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. We limit access to data to what our providers need to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data with reasonable measures.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the App.
